Depart for Harden approximately 9:00am
Arrive 9:30am, minibus will take group to the first airmail landing site.
10:30am – Morning tea at the Carrington Bistro.
11:15am – Visit the Chinese Cemetery (historically a big racist fight occurred),
12:00pm – Visit the Museum, the memorial to the Australian Light Horse and
Perhaps the Gold Trails Experience which costs $10 each to see the interactive experience.
1:00pm – Lunch at the Carrington Bistro. The Carrington Hotel is of interest in that M.Guillaux had to stay there a couple of days due weather on the first mail flight.
2:15 – Return to Harden Airstrip
2:30 – Return to Temora
Trip is weather dependant and events may have to be altered to accommodate weather conditions.
All costs for meals and morning tea will be paid by participants.

A new locked gate has been set up by council. The gate will be unlocked. There is no Council requirement for public liability insurance for participants.
The strip has been inspected and it is presently quite usable. Council will grade the strip before February 26th.
Airfield data from YHAE plus a notice at the strip says strip is 08/26, graded and compacted decomposed granite gravel, slope is 1 in 60 downhill to the west, width is 11 metres and there are no markers. Length 850 m. and elev. 1443 feet. Windsock south side, east end. Suggest park on the uphill, south, side and although the grass is not mown it is smooth enough to taxi. Watch for a bit of a rise at some places along the strip where the grader passes as you taxi off.
